Adding a subwoofer into a system is sometimes overlooked, that is until you set one up and realise how much improvement it can bring, not only in terms of bass reinforcement but in opening up the whole sound stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most convincing demonstrations we have done in our shop in Ashford, Kent recently was to add a REL <\/a>subwoofer to the centre channel on our reference surround system in our demonstration room. The difference was marked, much more cohesive front image, more drive and dynamics from the front and an overall better sense of immersion in the action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
