We have now had our demonstration Brio MK7<\/a> out and running in the shop for a little while and we all agree that it is one of the best, if not, the best <\/em>sounding, sub \u00a31000 amplifiers we have ever heard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ours is currently running our pair of Rega Aya<\/a> floor standing speakers (yes – those concrete ones!). Your first thought might be that the Brio could be a bit underpowered for them. No. Absolutely not. This is an amplifier with power and control to spare, dynamics and drive the likes of which we have not heard from such a small box amplifier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only does the Brio MK7<\/a> sound good – It is also incredibly versatile. This amp can be easily paired with a turntable thanks to its built-in phono stage (we have it paired with a Rega Planar 1 and it sounds fantastic!) as well as connected to your TV thanks to the built-in DAC, housing both an optical input as well as a digital RCA Co-Ax input.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connected to a suitable pair of speakers for your room, this is the heart of a really competent hi-fi system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simply put, you should buy one. Even if you have a bigger, better system in your main room, you should still buy one, just find another room to have music in as well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
