Rega decided early on that instead of an evolution of the previous RP8, the new Planar 8 was to be developed and engineered to encapsulate the essence of ‘Naiad’ at an affordable price.

With the Apheta 3 Rega have pushed another boundary, for several years they have been developing state of the the art diamond profiles of a “Fine Line” design mounted through 90 degrees (the same technique used in our Aphelion 2 reference model).

The Planar 6 features the RB330 tonearm and a dual-layer float glass platter. The supplied Neo turntable power supply provides convenient speed selection, advanced anti-vibration control, and electronic fine speed adjustment.

The Rega Planar 3 RS Edition (Rega Special) is constructed using a brand-new aluminium metal skin HPL laminate to create the stiffest plinth at Planar 3 level we have produced.

The latest member of the Rega MC cartridge range the Ania Pro uses our advanced Vital profile nude diamond stylus.
