Soundcraft is more than just a shop. We are music and movie lovers (and at least one of us is a video game nerd) and we want to help you on your Hi-Fi journey every way we can. We offer a range of services from demonstrations to repairs as well as good old fashioned friendly advice!
Demonstrations
We believe you should try before you buy. Book a demonstration in our purpose-built demonstration room with one of our friendly staff and take the time to discuss and really listen to make sure you're happy before making your purchase. Bring along your favourite music (or ask us to stream it for you) - then you'll really know if the kit is right for you.
We also offer home demonstrations where you can borrow some kit for a few days and see how it sounds in your room!

Turntable Servicing
We are an authorised repair and service centre for both Linn and Rega turntables.
Got a different brand? No problem at all - we take allcomers! There isn't a deck our "Turntable Guru" Geoff can't handle. Need a new stylus installed? Found grandads turntable in the loft? Whatever the reason, get in touch with us and breathe new life into your turntable today!
Hi-Fi Repairs
Amplifier with a channel down? CD Player not reading discs? Our repair agent is able to tackle a wide range of Hi-Fi repairs and make your equipment work like new again!
NOTE: All repair work is subject to a non refundable £80.00 inspection fee / deposit.
NOVEMBER 2026 UPDATE: WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY TAKING ON ANY REPAIR WORK - Our repair engineer has recently retired. We're sad to see him go but he has most certainly earned some downtime. We are now in talks with someone new and are hoping to resume our Hi-Fi repair service soon.

Site Surveys & Installations
Some systems require a bit more than just walking out the door with a box of goodies. Be it full surround sound or even a simple two channel stereo system. Making sure you get the right system for your needs is our top priority.
Simply chat with us about what you're thinking and if necessary, we will book a time for one of our staff to come out, measure up and discuss any other questions you have. Then once all the gear comes in, we will set up and install your system.
