The Planar 3 50th Anniversary Edition in 2023 was a huge success. So much so that long after exhausting stock, we continue to be asked whether we have any remaining.
Luckily, Rega have heard our pleas and the new Planar 3 RS Edition (Rega Special) serves as a pseudo follow up to the Anniversary Edition.
For the first time, the Planar 3 has been manufactured using a special High Pressure Laminate (usually reserved for Planar 6, Planar 8 and Planar 10) in addition to Rega’s double brace system to improve rigidity and prevent unwanted resonance over the standard model. This new premium finish has a stunning real brushed aluminium satin finish.
The plinth is edged with high gloss black to set off the metal finish and is supplied with a smoked dustcover to guarantee this product will sit with other hi-fi equipment in any environment.
The Planar 3 RS Edition is supplied with a hand tuned Neo PSU MK2 power supply providing user controllable fine speed adjustment and convenient electronic speed change as well as coming factory fitted with the brand-new award winning Nd5 moving magnet cartridge to create the ultimate Planar 3 at an incredible price of £999.00.
The package represents a £156.00 saving on the individually bought products.
